We have a bedroom immediately available in a 3 bed/ 2 bath house in Palo Alto's Barron Park neighborhood.
The house is spacious, fully furnished, has a nice patio (with BBQ grill), a vegetable garden and a garage. We are right off El Camino, just a few minutes from California Ave and within 2-3 miles from Stanford, downtown Palo Alto and San Antonio shopping center.
The room has hardwood floors, built-in shelves and cabinets, and a spacious closet. The room will come unfurnished--however, there is a desk, an office chair, a full mattress and some other furniture that you are welcome to use. The bathroom is shared with one female housemate.
Your housemates would be 2 Stanford affiliates (postdoc and medical researcher) and a professional, as well as one friendly indoor-outdoor cat (sorry, no other pets allowed by the landlord). We're looking for another housemate who is considerate, friendly and clean.
The rent is $1400 + ~$75 for utilities. First month's rent + $1200 deposit will be required at the time of signing the lease. A 6-month (or longer) commitment is preferred, but we are open to the possibility of shorter-term lease.
