Hey there! I am a Ph.D. student at Stanford looking for a new roommate to join me in my 2bd/1.5ba condo off California Avenue in Palo Alto.

The room is completely unfurnished and approximately 11x13' with its own vanity and sink. The condo is a spacious 1,250 square feet with all common areas furnished. It's about a mile away from campus -- an easy 10-15 minute bike ride on a bike-friendly route down Park Ave. Lots of restaurants and shops just outside your door on California Avenue, including Mollie Stone's grocery store and the Caltrain station (both across the street). I am open to both singles and couples.

Location: The mixed residential-commercial complex on the corner of California Ave and Park Ave; across the street from Palo Alto Pizza
Description: 2 bedroom, 1.5 bathroom, 1250 sq. ft.; bedrooms and shared bathroom upstairs; kitchen, living room, and half bath downstairs. Your bedroom is ~11x13' with its own sink/vanity
Rent: $1700/month for singles, $2000/month for couples. Additional ~$40/mo. for internet and cable. Water/electrical included in rent.
Move in date: As soon as possible! Potential tenants that can move in soon ASAP will be prioritized. You will need to sign a lease that goes through July 31, 2018. (But finding a summer subletter is a possibility!)
Furnished?: All except your bedroom

A little bit about your potential roommate: A 27 year-old Ph.D. student at Stanford. Easygoing and relaxed -- I value clean common areas and will do my part to keep them clean, but I'm also not a stickler. I'm typically on campus Monday-Friday from around 9am-6pm. I enjoy being outdoors (skiing in the winter, hiking/backpacking/fishing in the summer) and am often away on the weekends traveling, visiting friends/family, etc. I also enjoy playing the guitar, hanging with friends (usually outside the house but sometimes will have people over), and attempting to woodwork on the balcony.
