This Ipod touch came from a Band of the West promotion, and thus have a BW label on it.

I am not sure I should say this is a 2nd or 3rd generation because the model is listed as 3rd generation on ebay and other places but to my best knowledge this is technically a 2nd generation with updated OS. All "8GB 3rd gen" is the same to this one.
