Hey how's it going? I'm looking for anyone needing to rent out an unfurnished room, and needs use of stuff like a nice couch, home-theater system, misc kitchen stuff, table, other furniture. Also, I would consider renting a 2br/1ba, 2/2, or large 1/1 outright. The most I'd like to spend is $1100 for 2 total or $675 incl all utils for one room. PA, Menlo, Atherton, Mt V, SF are okay too, if the neighborhood is good.

Myself: mature, single "clean-cut" guy, no pets, no smoking/etc, from the bay area, educated, professional, respectful, laid-back. I've rented many times and know the routine. Working on campus in IT in a really cool interdisciplinary bio/med/cs research dept.

Good things to have:

• Mature, responsible, proactive household (understands the golden rule)
• Clean, relatively tame, quiet place (cleaner than average, some noise is okay)
• Directly communicative roommates (at least amicable)
• I like pets, but not right now
• No drugs/420/smoking and prefer the same
• If you're vegan I eat meat, so I hope you're okay
• I go out sometimes, and dont bring the party back or get drunk
• Responsive landlord / maintenance
• Close to campus, though most anywhere within 5-10 miles is cool
• Kitchen (i cook frequently, and clean up my messes)

Other pluses im looking for:

• Gender doesnt matter, lived with both
• Wireless internet access (if not, i can help with this)
• Large rooms / high ceilings
• Covered, non-permit, underground parking
• Cheap rent :o)

Meeting and getting to know the roommates a bit before would also be a good idea. Roommate agreements are definitely a good idea, though hope it's never needed (it's like insurance). Prefer to find something for a minimum of several months, month-to-month with at least a couple of months of advance notice before I would move out. My stuff is currently in storage and I'm staying with a friend, so I'd like to move ASAP.
