Each student has different strengths and weaknesses. Some are brilliant writers who just need a fresh set of eyes to read their essay. Others are full of so many ideas that they need help figuring out the best way to express them. And still others have spent so much time building the perfect resume that they have no idea which of their qualities and experiences they should share.

My name is Eva. As a student and alumnus of both Stanford University and Phillips Exeter Academy, I've had a chance to work and study with several different admissions officers. Through my conversations with them, I learned what traits elite institutions are really looking for. What makes them say wow... and what makes them yawn.

To me, application season is a time to reflect and connect all of your experiences and accomplishments in a meaningful and engaging way. You'll be surprised at just how interesting your story is -- and perhaps you'll realize that your life reads kind of like a novel.

That's why I want to help you craft an outstanding admissions essay. From in-depth discussions about your extracurriculars to brainstorming sessions to your final draft, I will help you see and convey the bigger picture.

I also recognize that not everyone who wants expert, one-one-one college and boarding school essay tutoring has access to one. If you live in a different part of this country -- or even a different country altogether -- I can work with you remotely, via Skype, Google Drive, and other online methods. Some of my favorite students have been international, and I always love hearing their perspective.
