Room leads DIRECTLY into bathroom (shared with only me, older professional woman).
No access to rest of the house so it's private, no other people to bump into.

Room has microwave and small refrigerator. Good for someone who does not do regular cooking.
Twin bed. Carpets, mattress, paint, blinds, refrigerator, microwave are all new, a few months old.
Room has its own entrance from a rustic garden.
The surroundings are rustic, not manicured, huge trees, quiet end-of-street.

Couple of walking blocks to a laundromat, Starbucks, gym, upscale grocery store, bagel shop, Chinese and Mexican restaurants. On the way tp and from Stanford is a Trader Joe's.

Not as close as some apartments near Stanford but overall the commute distance is similar considering that here you traverse quiet shaded streets with huge trees and upscale homes, and closer to Stanford you traverse busy El Camino Real amidst commercial buildings, gas station, apartments.

The picture has stuff of another renter and the room has been fully renovated recently.
It is also butterflied to fit the lens--the room is not L-shaped, it is rectangular. The white door leads into the bathroom.
