Hello! I am looking for an awesome roommate to move into one of the rooms as soon as Sep 1.

The apartment: Cozy, but spacious, for two people. The location is amazing! 5 minute walk to Menlo Park Caltrain Station and an amazing park with a duck pond, 10 minute walk to Trader Joe's and downtown Menlo Park (variety of cute shops, cafes, restaurants, Bank of America and Walgreens), 15 minute walk to Safeway, CVS and Draegers, 10 minute drive to Target, 15 minute drive to Stanford campus (55 minute walk). There are plenty of parks close by and beautiful walking trails. The only downfall is the noise trains make when they pass by, but if you can handle a little noise this apartment is perfect! I don't have a car so the parking spot would be all yours.

The room: The bigger of the two rooms is very spacious. It is well lit all day and you would have a view of a beautiful tree. The previous roommates (they shared the room) will most likely be leaving a bed, mattress and shelves (price of the furnishings can be negotiated). The rent is $1560/month plus $110(ish)/month for utilities.

Your roommate (me): I am a research tech in a dermatology lab at Stanford. I enjoy reading, discovering new music, going on walks/hikes, painting, occasionally playing my ukulele (when no one is around). I am vegetarian and don't cook that often, but will make you lattes on the reg :)

I am looking for someone that is clean, respectful of the space, willing to be social (always nice to have another friend) and preferably Stanford affiliated.
