The Roland Cube Street is a great product for a musician on campus. Loud enough to fill a room or play outdoors. I only used it once last year (It was an impulse buy). It retails for $300 but I will let it go for $200.

It also doubles as a speaker - you can plug your computer, iPod, or any device in via AUX. Great sound quality.
