Hi fellow Stanfordites,

I'm moving up to Oakland for work and so am leaving my current place, a great room in a charming house in Palo Alto (near the intersection of Loma Verde and Waverley). I'm sad to be leaving it -- it's an awesome place.

The room is compact but fits a queen size bed and large desk side by side (see pictures). The room also has a closet, some storage space above the closet, and there's another closet in the hallway for you to use. You'd share a full bathroom with the other two housemates.

The house has a full kitchen, dining room, living room, spacious back yard, and garage (which houses a washer, dryer and plenty of space for storage). All of these are excellent. You'll be a 10 minute walk away from the center of mid-town Palo Alto, which boasts a 24 hour Safeway, CVS, Bank of America, and two excellent taquerias (which as we know, provide the lifeblood of Bay Area).

The other housemates are a current Stanford post-doc and a former Stanford post-doc who now works at a biotech company in the area. They're friendly and easy to live with -- clean and organized.

My move out schedule is flexible, so if need be, you could move in some time before December 1. Also, I'm selling the bed platform and mattress, so the room would be somewhat furnished if you wanted to buy those off of me as well.
