I used this backpack to travel around Europe in 2004, and it hasn't been used much since. It is a dark blue, large backpack, with sturdy internal frame and a detachable daypack. The frame is fully adjustable, as is the waist band. Like all Eagle Creek travel backpacks, there is a panel that zips over the entire back of the pack so that the straps and buckles are protected when you check the luggage on a flight. There is also a rain cover.
The interior can be zipped into two compartments, the main on top and one for a sleeping bag on bottom. Of the panel in between can be unzipped, creating one large interior space. There are many small pockets to help you keep organized.
I added a world peace patch on the front, and several national flags down one side of the bag. These can be easily removed.
