Hi - I have a group of students from Beijing visiting the Stanford area for 3 days.

We are hoping to host a 1 day English writing workshop for a total of 6 hours (3 hours in the AM, 3 hours in the PM). The event will be on 2/11; venue TBD.

The content is entirely up to the teacher. You will have complete control over the latitude of content. This is a perfect gig for experienced ESL teachers who have lectures pre-made already. Example topics include:
-Tips for writing personal statements
-Resources for learning to read and write on a college level
-Techniques for communicating effectively in writing

The gig pays $50/hr. We have hundreds of other students coming in the summer; if the seminar goes well, we would ask for you to help us with subsequent seminars.

Mandarin speaking teachers are strongly preferred.
