F, Visiting Postdoc @ Stanford Med, seeking room from Oct 1 (mid-Sept possible)

Hi there,
I am an incoming visiting postdoc at Stanford Medical School, already affiliated with Stanford, which is why I am reaching out through this list.
A bit about me: I'm German, finished my PhD in Economics last year, and have lived and worked across several countries, so I am very comfortable sharing a home with people of different backgrounds and personalities. I'm quiet, considerate, and respect others' privacy and space. Before the pandemic, I lived and studied in Washington, D.C. for five years, so I can provide references from that time. Fun fact: I grew up in Bavaria, so I bring a bit of Oktoberfest spirit with me.

I'm looking for a furnished room within reasonable reach of Stanford campus by foot or public transportation, in a safe neighborhood. Budget ideally under $2,000/month but can be discussed; a private bathroom would be a nice perk but isn't mandatory. Ideally starting October 1st (mid-September also possible), with flexible duration, but ideally at least 5 months (to be discussed).
