Description

We are a family in the redwood city area looking for a kind, calm, and reliable female Stanford student, undergraduate or graduate, to accompany our high school senior daughter while she does homework.

She is bright and capable but sometimes has difficulty getting started and staying focused. This is not primarily a tutoring position. The main role is to sit beside her, help her begin, break assignments into small steps, and provide gentle, nonjudgmental structure.

Schedule: 3–4 weekday afternoons, approximately 4:30–6:30 PM
Pay: $50/hour, two-hour.
Location: Belmont/San Mateo
Start: Two-week paid trial, with the possibility of continuing throughout the school year

Experience with teenagers, tutoring, mentoring, anxiety, ADHD, or executive-function support is helpful but not required.

Please reply with your Stanford program and year, availability, relevant experience, transportation, and references.
