After more than a year of use, I am selling my dear bike, a Tommaso fixie (flip-flop hub, so you can set it up to single speed). Yes, you're right it's sounds like a fake Italian brand build in Taiwan BUT it's still a really good bike AND no one is going to steal it from you (cause it does not look like a fancy bike and people think that Schwinn is a good brand). The bike is 2 years old and was bought 500$

I have been riding it almost it everyday and this is the perfect commute bike (depends on your calves). The ratio is perfect to speed on flat ground and not die on steep hills. I am climbing Potrero twice a day, it's pretty smooth and I am almost not sweaty when I get in the train. It's a really light bike and it rides really smoothly.

It's a fixie (but flip flop hub), 56 cm frame. Really smooth to ride, really light bike.
