$650 asking price, negotiable
I am selling my two small Mac laptops (the other one is the previous post--a MacBook) to raise money for a newer, larger-screen model for my graphics work. The computer for sale here is my older one: a 12-inch G4 iBook with a 1.07GHz processor, 768MB of RAM (upgraded from the 256 it originally shipped with) and a 60GB Hard Drive. It is running Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard). I won't lie, it's not the fastest machine on the block, but for web surfing, email, and music it's just fine. It's also fine at playing back videos/DVDs, but I wouldn't recommend doing video editing on it. It has a combo drive that can read DVDs and CDs and burn CDs. It has an Airport Extreme wireless card for wireless internet. I have a brand-new backup battery that you can have with it too, so you get two batteries total, each of which give 3-5 hours runtime, depending on use. The machine is in pretty good condition, with no serious physical damage, but it does have some scratches from normal use. I have a nice optical USB mouse that you can have with it if you like, no extra charge. (Sometimes I get tired of using a laptop trackpad.)
I understand that you may want to see the machine and test it out a bit before buying it, which is totally fine. I'm a student here, so we can arrange to meet somewhere on campus to do that.
Thanks for looking,
Dan
