So I heard you were thinking about taking single-variable calc this year... I know what you need to derive and to thrive: this book (Single variable calculus: Concepts and contexts, 4th edition, by James Stewart). It will treat you right. Please buy it. It's going for $90. At the bookstore, the book is hella expensive. Seriously—the used one retails for $180 or something. So really, $90 is a steal. I'd sell it for more, but taking math is bad enough.
