Personal experience:

I wanted a compact washer because the university-assigned laudry room (although free) was a bit far from my low-rise apartment, and I'm so glad I bought this great little machine. It saved me a lot of time and I could wash my clothes whenever I want. It is gentle enough for the silk/cashmere delicates I used to wash by hand, but powerful enough that all clothes came out fresh and clean. I still went to the laudry room once in a while for heavy things like duvet covers as the compact washer is not designed for those, but it didn't bother me at all.

I'm offering it because I will move to a place with pre-installed washer/dryer next month. I believe people like me or any family with children will find this machine a great help. The Amazon reviews were very helpful for me and you can use them as FAQ.
