Looking for a male boarder for the open (fully furnished) bedroom in a 3 bedroom, 2 bath house in Mountain View. This is a sub-let sharing the common areas with a 59 yr old male and a resident cat. The primary resident also runs a home office.

Boarder has exclusive use of the hall bathroom, with the caveat that the bathroom be presentable for use by occasional visitors. Access to common spaces include the kitchen and yard. These areas also need to be presentable for occasional business visitors.

The bedroom is furnished, with a twin bed. All utilities are covered, household supplies are negotiable, and there is high speed wifi and some limited storage in the room. In house laundry. Nice, quiet suburban neighborhood (all houses), street is without through traffic. While I reserve use of the driveway, there is plenty of parking on the street. Also a short walk to the San Antonio Cal Train station (two stops south of Stanford). My last several boarders commuted to Stanford daily.

Personally, I'm a Palo Alto native raised by Stanford graduates and, while I am currently pursuing my passions of music and audio engineering, I spent 20+ years in the computer industry as a mechanical design engineer. I like a neat house and, while I couldn't be accused of deep cleaning very often, I am conscious of keeping things sanitary and tidy.

Rent is $1100/month, with first month rent, last month deposit, and $150 cleaning deposit upon commitment. The room is available immediately.
