We are offering a room in a 3-bedroom large apartment for one person.
The room is available from September 15. Half a month rent for Sept.
$1350 per month. It includes internet and utilities and most of the cleaning.
Street parking only. We keep bicycles inside our place.
We can Skype in case you are in Europe or somewhere else.
The room has:
1 single bed
1 chest of drawers
1 large desk with lamp
1 floor lamp
1 night table
1 TV and cable
1 computer screen
1 laundry basket
1 laundry hamper
2 large towels
2 bed covers
2 pillows - one soft, one hard.
A large closet with plenty of hangers.

We require 50% rent deposit and a $35 application fee. The deposit will be fully refunded when you move out. This is a month to month agreement and you must give 30 days notice for moving out. You must provide proof of income or school program to be able to rent. Bathroom to be shared with only one more roommate as we have our own. We also have a very large balcony with patio furniture for social events.

Please, no overnight visits. No exceptions.

Coin laundry service on premises. Great for a Stanford student or commuter as it is near both Stanford and Caltrain. 7 minutes walk to Caltrain and Stanford free shuttle. Also for Facebook employees as Facebook shuttle stop is nearby. Cycling distance to Palo Alto. Very safe and quiet neighborhood.

We are a mature married couple from Canada in business (50 and 55). We will embrace you as part of our family if so you prefer as we are very friendly, or if you want your privacy it is so as well.

We are non-smokers and have no pets. We have the place clean and in good condition. We do most of the cleaning. You just take care of cleaning your own room and the kitchen after you cook.

Walking distance to Trader Joe's, Safeway, movie theater, coffee shops and many other shopping stores. 10 minutes walk to Menlo Park Library and recreation center. Gyms located 10-minute walk away. One of the best places to live in the US.

We live 2 blocks away from a Zipcar location. Many more locations at Stanford University and Palo Alto downtown.
