This is my private home but I make it feel like you are living in a resort with concierge services.
Included in your rent is all your dishwashing, laundry, weekly professional cleaning service, use of a gorgeous backyard gazebo with decorative lighting surrounded by trees and flower gardens, a large charcoal grill, fountains, over a dozen fruit trees, a blueberry patch and quiet privacy. I do all the daily household tasks and cleaning including dishwashing and laundry. . ..simply put your dirty dishes in the sink and your sheets and towels in the hamper and they will all be washed for you. I enjoy making this feel like an oasis to come home to. . .far away from a stressful world.
Also included with your beautiful suite are luxury bed linens, new pillows and blankets, thick, soft bathroom towels and all other bathroom supplies. There is also a brand new Samsung Smart LED HD TV, advanced ultra high speed Comcast wireless with HBO, Netflix, Amazon Prime, sports and movie bundles, DVR and DVD in the room.
Just move in with your suitcase, everything else is here for you.
The environment here is very clean and comfortable with central air conditioning/heat, extra large washer/dryer and ultra high speed wireless internet. The shared gourmet kitchen is large with spacious countertops, hardwood floor, new stainless steel appliances. Cooking privileges include use of dishes, flatware and gourmet cooking equipment. I also cook big gourmet dinners a few times a month for everyone in the house to enjoy.
I know that young professionals are often dealing with student loans and other expenses so I only ask for the first month rent but no other move-in costs. All utilities are included as well. Moderate drinking is fine but no smoking or drugs please. Driveway parking space is also available for everyone.
I have owned the house for many years and live here with my sister. We are both easygoing, open-minded people in our 50s who love to laugh. We get along with pretty much everyone, regardless of age. My sister lives in a separate, detached cottage behind the main house, I live on the downstairs level of the house and our tenants live in their own wing on the main level of the house. There are 5 suites here so everyone has their own private bedroom, bathroom and private entrance.
The tenants we attract are usually well educated, busy young professionals working in high-tech or medical sciences, or are students at one of the many, local universities in this area. On average our tenants live here for a year or longer so our environment is very stable.
Everyone has their own private space but we are definitely an eclectic group that enjoys doing things together like planning informal house parties and other activities from time to time. I also cook gourmet dinners regularly and am happy to share these meals with everyone in the house. The best tenant for us is someone who is warm and friendly and will enjoy a combination of time alone and time spent with others.
The location is great, just one and a half miles from upscale, historic, downtown Redwood City with hot new restaurants, clubs, free outdoor concerts, Century 20 movie theater, the Dragon Productions Improv Theater, the world famous Fox Concert Theater and the Sequoia Cal Train station We are also just two blocks from a wonderful organic farmers market. . .best in the bay area. We are also just 8 blocks away from the brand-new 24 hour Fitness Super Sport.
The neighborhood is very safe and friendly, people are not afraid to leave their doors open on a hot day or to go for a walk or run at night. People look out for each other here and we know all our neighbors on a first name basis and plan block parties, garage sales and other community activities together.
We have two little dogs (a 6 pound maltese/shih-tzu mix and a 12 pound poodle-shih-tzu mix) that do not go into the part of the house where you will live. They are 100% house-trained and very friendly and sweet. We often take them with us when we leave the house but you should like small dogs to feel comfortable here.
This beautiful master suite with all amenities included is $1,800.00 a month.
Lease Agreement is month-to-month.
