Location, location, location. We’re a chill Stanford family and our house is located really close to campus in the neighborhood across El Camino by Palo Alto High School. Walk, bike or drive to campus in minutes. The house is less than 0.5 miles to campus (El Camino @ Churchill), Trader Joe’s Town & Country, Caltrain California Ave, and the nearest Marguerite stop (El Camino @ Park).

We live here too (husband, wife, teen) and have some rooms coming available ($650, $850 and $1250) on a month-to-month basis, furnished or unfurnished. Month-to-month terms; at move-in, first, last and security deposit. These are single occupancy rates. The resident family uses one bathroom, and the housing guests use the other bathroom, and everyone shares the kitchen and other common areas.

Rent is all-in and includes all utilities, high-speed 1Gbps wi-fi Internet, DirecTV, AppleTV, washer/dryer, and a cleaning service for common areas. This is not a co-op; you do not have any required duties, but we are not a hotel and expect you to have a can-do, flexible attitude as part of the household. Extras include a fireplace, kitchen garden, front and back patios, ping-pong table, boxing heavy bag and treadmill.
