Heart centered intellectual coop, Menlo Park (8min bike from campus)

Incepto is a 6 bedroom intellectual community house based in West Menlo Park, about a 8 minute bike ride from Stanford and 8 min bike ride from downtown Menlo Park.

For the past 7 years, we’ve been creating a space for mutual learning, idea sharing, and network building. Ideal housemates share a passion and curiosity in sci/tech fields.
We regularly host events such as intellectual salons (once every couple of months), lego building day, hackathons and social gatherings.
House has a spacious living room, large covered patio, fully equipped kitchen and backyard with a hot tub.

We currently have three single rooms with shared bathroom available starting now for $1800, $1800 and $1200 inc utilities and house events and snacks, and one room in early February. We typically prefer to have a 3 month trial period before extending into a long term lease.

Please note that room 3 has the laundry and dryer in it, hence the reduced rent. It is a good fit for someone not super sound sensitive who likes spending in the communal areas of the house generally, who might have a limited budget but prefers living in a nice house in a great location and living with great, intellectually curious and entrepreneurial people :)

Jacob - superconnector extraordinaire, kindest soul and founded Incepto House 7 years ago. He loves running intellectual salons, having deep conversations about anything from philosophy to robotics. On top of lifting everyone around him, he runs his startup, Ideaflow

Matt - taking a break from CS at Princeton, Matt is working on a new stealth startup with Kyler, who comes by the house on a regular basis

Sam - incoming 5th year at Stanford studying CS. He took a year off Stanford to work in various companies, inc AI work with a big healthcare company and as a blockchain engineer for a crypto startup.

Abhinav - recently graduated med student, going to be observing at the Oncology department at Stanford for about a month
