Description

We are a team of three looking to bring sustainable power to the maritime industry. Much like Tesla Motors revolutionized the automotive industry with its high-performance electric cars, we aim to draw on similar technologies to build electric propulsion systems for recreational boats.

With the help of a talented engineer (or engineer-in-training), we will design and build high-performance inboard, outboard, and stern-drive electric motors and battery packs for recreational watercraft. The propulsion systems will be designed to fit a number of existing boat hulls, much like current combustion engines are today.

We are looking for an engineer with interest or experience in lithium-ion batteries to join our team and work with us on building some prototypes. Open to undergrads, grad students, post-grads, as long as you are smart, enthusiastic, and ready to dive in!
