We deploy robotic work-cells onto live factory floors
What you'll do: Program, integrate, and commission robotic cells that go into real production environments. You'll own the path from "arm on a bench" to "running reliably on a customer floor." We use universal robots and have an office for dev work in Potrero Hill in San Francisco
Responsibilities:
Program and tune industrial robots (motion paths, I/O, safety logic) for pick-and-place, assembly, welding, or material handling
Integrate robots with PLCs, vision systems, grippers, and conveyors
Write and debug controller-level and higher-level code (e.g. ROS/ROS2, Python, C++, vendor languages)
Commission cells on-site and troubleshoot under production pressure
Document configurations so cells can be redeployed and maintained
Required:
Hands-on experience programming at least one major industrial robot platform (FANUC, KUKA, ABB, UR, Yaskawa)
Comfort with PLC integration and industrial I/O
Nice to have:
ROS/ROS2, machine vision, force control, or safety-rated systems (ISO 10218 / RIA 15.06)
Experience taking a cell from prototype to repeatable deployment
We'll make decisions fast. We'd like to have a lot of help on contract for a few hours a week role that might convert into a full time role if it goes well! If you're interested in applying, please send your resume / portfolio to as@rellingsystems.com
