Incoming Predoc (23M) Seeking Room or Roommates | Early September Move-In

Howdy folks --

My name is Davis, and I am a 23-year-old incoming predoctoral RA at Hoover. I will begin working remotely in August (hence the personal email here) and plan to move to the Stanford area in early September, likely around or shortly after Labor Day. I am looking for an available room or apartment or to join a group of roommates who are looking to fill a spot.

Basic preferences:

• Targeting at or under $1,400 per month with slight flexibility
• Unfurnished preferred
• Utilities included would be a plus, but are not required
• Ideally located in Palo Alto, Menlo Park, Redwood City, or Mountain View
• Open to living slightly farther away since I will have a car
• Parking spot or reliable street parking
• Targeting a September move-in and ideally a longer-term lease (1 year)

A little more info about me:

• Moving from Texas to research higher-education funding and student labor-market outcomes at Hoover
• Former college swimmer who hopes to continue swimming and potentially teach lessons or coach on weekends
• Expecting to spend most weekdays on campus between work and classes
• Clean, organized, considerate, and generally quiet at home
