I picked up a book in the MERL front entrance, which were in an apparent discard pile on the coffee table (thurs, jan 12).

But now, looking at the great condition of them, I think maybe this was actually someone's after they just picked it upi from the bookstore, and they just left this pile of books there for some reason, with nobody or nothing else around?
