I live in a house in North Berkeley, in the "Gourmet Ghetto," with two other law school girls who will be working in SF during the summer. The address is: 2026 Francisco Street Berkeley, CA 94709. The house is a couple blocks from downtown Berkeley and a ten minute walk to the downtown Berkeley BART station. My house is about one block from an AC transit bus that goes to San Francisco. There is a Trader Joe's a short walk away. Additionally, being so close to downtown Berkeley and in the Gourmet Ghetto, there are tons of restaurants around. It's a super nice neighborhood and my roommates are great!
I am subletting my room from June to August (it could be mid-May to mid-August, depending on the needs of the person). The arrangement would include the following for $950 a month: one room (big windows and plenty of sunlight) in a three-room house which is fully furnished, a backyard with an orange tree, strawberry bushes, cactus plants, etc, a washer and dryer that does not require any coins, internet and utilities, a large living room, and whoever sublets would share the kitchen and bathroom with my two roommates!
Whoever is interested can email me at: eliaherrera[at]gmail[dot]com. I can also provide pictures of the place, just let me know! The following link will allow you to see some picture of the house (the living room coach is now red, actually), but I can provide more if anyone is interested! http://www.dropbox.com/gallery/5774786/1/Francisco%20House?h=53ba58
Thanks so much!
