Dont do deals through the mail. If the email is worded weird / is asking you to do something out of normal = scammer. Check to make sure they are using a @stanford.edu email and always meet in person. These guys are overseas and use anonmyous email accounts like hotmail.com......they are all throughout our system. They send you fake checks for more than the correct amount and ask you to send them the excess money back via Western Union, etc....anonmyous money wire.....then your bank figures out it was a fake check by day 8 and then you are screwed.
