Seeking a Programmer for web-based application development to help develop tool for under-served communities
Do you want to make an impact on under-served communities? Here's a great opportunity to get involved in a project that aims to help under served communities in the Bay area and can potentially affect healthcare choices in clinics all over the world.
We are a group originating from Stanford's Design for Medical Service Innovation course moving forward with a product idea to help under-served community clinics determine their set of medical services. We seek to scale our project to a web-based or ipad-based application for potential wide-spread dissemination. Preliminary java-based application is already available but we would like refinement both aesthetically and in functionality.
Minimal time-commitment for 3-6 weeks, with potential for long-term collaboration. There is also potential for the project to develop into a non-profit.
Qualifications:
Experience in web-based application development
Experience working with databases (MySQL, SQL, PostGres, etc)
Experience in GUI (javascript, html, css, linux, etc)
Experience with Mobile/Tablet app development a plus.
