<p>Since its early days as the Undergraduate Library, Meyer has always been a hub of student activity. On December 1st, there will be even more activity than usual, as SULAIR celebrates the building's 40th birthday with an Open House. Our featured speaker will be Stewart Brand, who will discuss &#34;How Buildings Learn,&#34; with special reference to Meyer. Other planned events include a paper airplane contest, library tours (including the mysterious 3rd floor and the East Asia Library), and musical performances.</p>
