Cute, sunny, 1 bedroom cottage behind main house, with private Mexican tile patio. Two blocks from Atherton. The rent is $1765, including ALL UTILITIES. It is one bedroom, the kitchen and living room are one room. Carpet and tile floor, wall heater, air conditioning. The bathroom has a tiled shower, and a hookup for a stacking washer/dryer, which we are planning to install soon. Meanwhile there is a shared washer/dryer in our basement. The patio is private, and you can also use our bigger patio. We have a trained service dog for our son, and the dog is very well-behaved and mostly in the main house (labrador). No other pets allowed. No smoking.

All utilities are included in the price (except phone). This includes gas heat, garbage, water, electrical, cable, internet. We have high speed internet - wireless. Gas stove, a year old. Microwave and full-sized fridge with ice maker in the freezer.

Currently it is partially furnished - wall/desk unit with shelves (not shown in photos), kitchen table and chairs, linens and dishes. We can bring a bed in if needed, and a sofa or futon for the living area if needed.

We also have a jacuzzi which you can share when we have it running, which is usually in the Spring/Summer.

We have a small greenhouse and an organic vegetable garden which you can use, also lemons, apples, and tangerines. You can use the outdoor kitchen with grill and pizza oven.

We are on a bus line that goes right to CalTrain, you can walk to El Camino and catch a bus, or bike through Atherton and then to Alameda de las Pulgas to campus. We are 5 miles from Stanford. Safeway and fast food two blocks away.

Downtown Redwood City is vibrant with outdoor activities nearly every evening on the Courthouse Square, multiplex theatre and lots of restaurants.
