I'm looking to sublet my fully-furnished studio apartment in Escondido Village (Studio 1), located at the intersection of Campus Dr. and Escondido Rd. on Stanford's campus.
Rent is $1,222/month (deposit $800).
I am charging the exact same rate that the university charges for this apartment. It is much cheaper (and more convenient) than anything comparable you will find in Palo Alto or neighboring areas, since it is subsidized by the university.
Available mid-June (definitely by June 14, but I am flexible) until August 31.
Again, it is fully furnished. It comes with a full bed, couch, desk, bookshelf, full kitchen (oven, stove, refrigerator), and private bathroom (tub and shower).
The apartment will be completely empty, as I am moving out, so you won't need to worry about my stuff in the way.
This is perfect for a graduate student or visiting scholar (male or female, does not matter). No undergraduates. Must be Stanford-affiliated.
We will set up the lease officially through Stanford's housing office, so there will be no confusion or hassle. You will pick up the key directly from the housing office upon move-in, and they will be able to handle lock-outs and maintenance issues because you will be in their system.
