Price: $698
I’m subletting my place in EV grad housing over the summer. It’s in a 2-bedroom efficiency in Blackwelder (meaning you have your own private bedroom, you share a kitchen and a bathroom with my lovely roommate, but the apartment does not have a living room).
Cost:
It's $698/month or $23/day.
Plus a once-off $60 'communications' fee for unlimited internet and landline phone (unlimited calls to US numbers).
$300 refundable security deposit
Dates:
It’s available June 12th to Sept. 30th. I'd like to rent it to out to someone who wants it for at least 3 full months; first preference to someone who wants it for the full 3.5 months. If you want it for less than 3 months, that’s ok but the minimum rent is 3x$698 + $60. So sorry. And no, you can’t sublet it to someone else for the part you’re not around.
Specifics:
It’s fully furnished (no TV): twin bed, desk, chair, bookshelves, cupboard, nightstand, and a large built-in wardrobe. The bedroom receives a lot of natural light. There are bike racks right outside; free laundry in the building; and a computer cluster with printing that you might be able to access. No pets, no smoking. Parking lot just in front of the building. It’s along the Stanford free shuttle route, so there’s easy access to the Caltrain, grocery stores, Med School/Hospital, Stanford Shopping Center, downtown, etc. It’s a 12min walk to the Main Quad.
Here are the floor plans Stanford gives, though the kitchen and the bathroom are switched, and the furniture isn't arranged as shown: http://www.stanford.edu/dept/rde/cgi-bin/drupal/housing/housing/escondido-village-highrise-apartments
Requirements:
As per Stanford subletting regulations, I can only rent to someone who is:
