Selling a numbers matching L48 1977 Corvette. Last year of the Stingray body style. Has t-tops so the roof can be removed in the summer for cruising I have owned this car for almost 4 years.
During the time I have owned the car I have fully serviced the car. All the hoses have been replaced, new spark plugs, new ball bearings with synthetic grease, new ball joints, new door hinges, the weather stripping around the t-tops have been replaced, Recent oil change with new filter and synthetic oil/oil additive (oil changed every 3K), new brakes (new master brake cylinder, pads have about 80% left) new distributor and ignition module. All the lights and gauges work (except for the clock). The car has been garaged or covered its entire life, even during the summer. The car passed smog about 6 weeks ago with no difficulties. Clean title and current registration up to 2015.
The interior is original and the exterior has been repainted the original color. The paint does have a few small scratches that are difficult to notice. The car is not a show car, but it is a very good-looking car. In 2011 the car won second place at the Corvette Spectacular in the C3 unmodified category.
This car has been my weekend driver. It is a reliable, fun ride. I bought the car in 2009 from Corvette Express with 70,000 original miles. Currently the car has about 73,800 miles. Overall the car is very solid and I will be sad to see it go.
I am looking to get around $7,900 for the car. The car is located at 1001 Fremont Ave. Los Altos.
Thanks for looking.
