I am offering a single bedroom in Menlo Park to sublet for a month and a half between August, 1st and September 15th (or a fraction of that time). $700/month plus utilities ($40 month).
The room is furnished (desk/bed/closet), has hardwood floors, and fair amount of natural light (one wall has two large windows spanning it). The room is one in a beautiful 6-bedroom, 2.5 bath house with front and back yards, a fully stocked and spacious kitchen, a deck, and two large, in-door common areas, and laundry facilities. The house is located just west of 101 and very close to Dumbarton Bridge. It is within walking distance of 2 grocery stores, a coffee shop, pizza parlor, and other restaurants.
I live with 5 great people (a few grad students, a few engineers and designers, 2 women and 3 men). We're a clean, friendly, respectful bunch that enjoys the laid back feel of our abode. I'm currently a grad student at Stanford, and am going away for the summer to work. My house is located within biking distance of campus (15-20 minutes), biking distance to downtown Palo Alto and Menlo Park (10-12 minutes). Driving to nearby cities is a short trip: (without traffic) San Francisco is 35-40 minutes away, Oakland/Berkely are 45-50 minutes away, San Jose is 25 minutes away.
