$400 or $32 per day (regular campus housing rent for Rains 2BR)

For outsiders, Rains is one of the most popular graduate student housing. It's at a walking distance from most of the Stanford academic areas and there are free campus shuttles (every 10-15 minutes) which can take you to shopping areas, caltrain stations, VTA bus stops within a matter of 5-10 minutes. It is a 2 bed, 1 bath apartment. You will share bathroom and common areas (living room and kitchen) with a male Stanford summer researcher. You will also get a desk, a chair, a cupboard and a bed with mattress for your bedroom. It is the safest and the most happening (yet quiet) area of Stanford.
