I am writing for a friend who lives in Palo Alto and is looking for a baby sitter for her 1-year-old son. The candidate would be a Chinese-speaking female less than 40 years old. The job could be full time (preferred), roughly 9 am to 6 pm; or part time, which means several hours each workday. For part-times, a nanny will be there to help you taking care of the baby, and your major responsibility will be playing with the kid. The pay will be competitive. Both parents are Chinese, working full time at the Bay Area. They are very friendly, thoughtful and easy-going. They have a lovely home. Preferential might be given to spouses of Bay Area university affiliations who hold college degrees but the only criterion is whether the baby likes you.
