Tutor - Educational Assistant
One of the best multisensory learning centers is hiring tutors and teachers for its Cupertino location in the following subjects:

-Math - 5th - 12th grade. This is our highest skill area that we are looking for.
-Reading/Phonics skills

• Test Taking Skills
• Memory Training
• Critical Thinking Skills, and Writing- This is great for teacher training as well as pyschology student experience
  All hires will go through a paid orientation session and fun training. Must be fluent in English..
  Tutoring hours typically range from M -F 2:20 -- 5:15 - This is a part time job for 2 -- 12 hours per week during the school year.

Job Description and Responsibilities:

-Provide enthusiastic, hands-on 1:1 customer service to our students.
-Watch as students improve skills each week.
-Motivate the students by developing positive relationship.
-Get to use newest science based materials to help improve student's success.

Requirements:
-Must have or be working towards Bachelor's Degree in the field that is related to the subject you would like to tutor/teach.
-Prior teaching/tutoring experience strongly preferred.
-Be a flexible thinker and problem solver.
-Must be able to commit to work for at least December 2013 and hopefully August 2014.
-Enjoy working with children and helping those with learning problems.
-Must have access to reliable transportation and internet.
-Background check required.
-Excellent interpersonal, listening and communication skills.
-Ability to utilize different methods and mediums in delivering lessons.
