I'm looking to sublet my fully-furnished studio apartment in Escondido Village (Studio 1), located at the intersection of Campus Dr. and Escondido Rd. on Stanford's campus. It is the closest Studio building to the main campus.
Rent is $1,265 month (refundable deposit $500). I will pro-rate it to your dates.
I am charging the exact same rate that the university charges for this apartment. It is much cheaper (and more convenient) than anything comparable you will find in Palo Alto or neighboring areas, since it is subsidized by the university.
Available mid-June through early September.
Currently, dates are somewhat flexible. Preference given to someone available to stay the entire three-month period.
Again, it is fully furnished. It comes with a full bed, couch, desk, bookshelf, full kitchen (oven, stove, refrigerator), and private bathroom (tub and shower). You will also have use of all of my cookware and other various items.
This is perfect for a graduate student or visiting scholar (male or female, does not matter). No undergraduates. Must be Stanford-affiliated.
We will set up the lease officially through Stanford's housing office, so there will be no confusion or hassle. You will pick up the key directly from the housing office upon move-in, and they will be able to handle lock-outs and maintenance issues because you will be in their system.
For a description and pictures of the entire set-up, see: https://www.stanford.edu/dept/rde/cgi-bin/drupal/housing/housing/escondido-village-studios.
Email me if you are interested.
