I'm a grad student at Stanford and I would like to find some companions to go on a trip to Chile during Thanksgiving break of 2014. I found some plane tickets at reasonable prices (about $1000 which is not bad for a roundtrip from SFO to Santiago and back). I plan to leave around Nov. 20 (Thursday of the week before Thanksgiving) and come back around Dec. 2 (Tuesday of the week after Thanksgiving) but my dates are flexible; it seems to be a good idea to spend around 10 days in the country. I plan to visit some cities (Santiago, Valparaiso etc.) and maybe Patagonia (the part in the south near Antarctica). I speak a little Spanish and it would be great if you speak better Spanish than I do, but I also plan to improve my Spanish between now and November.
