I'm a graduate student working on a project about how people perceive different sentence structures depending on the sound of a speaker's voice. Right now I'm looking for women aged 18-23 to read a short list of sentences, which I will record and then play back anonymously to a separate group of people taking language comprehension and perception surveys. The recording should take no more than 5 minutes, and you'll get paid $5 for helping us out.

Requirements for participating:

• native speaker of American English
• aged 18-23
• from Northern CA (since age 8 at least)
• female
