Separate furnished master suite in shared home in quiet professorville neighborhood. Available mid February

The room has hardwood floors, plenty of light and is furnished with a queen bed, side tables and desk. All linens are included should you need them. The attached bath with shower stall is private unless we are having the occasional party and will ask permission to have guests use the bathroom (you're welcome to say no). There is a separate entrance by the room but you're welcome to use the main one.

We are three adults in our 30s and a happy 20 month old little girl. We are easy going and enjoy cooking, relaxing and travel.

We welcome someone social who doesn't mind hearing kid noises during the day and seeing toys around the house. You have full use of the common areas, kitchen, laundry, garden as well as fast U-verse wifi and TV (sports & movies package). Feel free to invite friends over, use the BBQ and garden, just no late night parties. We often enjoy wine or beer in the evening with a home cooked meal and will often invite those living with us to join in. Out-of-town guests can be accommodated with a blow-up mattress in your room if needed. We ask that guests not over stay their welcome so let's talk if someone needs to stay longer than a couple of days.

We would prefer to live with one person but if you are a couple and win us over we will consider you. No pets but we occasionally do some in-home dog sitting because we love animals.

Parking: ample street parking or a carport if you don't use your car daily. Garage for bikes.

Home is located 15 minute walk from University Ave. less than a mile to Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, and Town & Country Village. Stanford campus is 15 minutes by bike or you can get the shuttle and CalTrain is 1.5 miles.

Rent: $1850 single occupancy, utilities and general household items included.

Previous tenants have been Stanford students, summer interns, exchange students, recent relocations and post-docs and we would be happy to put you in contact with them to get an idea of what living with us is like.
