I am looking for a someone to take over my room in a gorgeous 5-bedroom Portola Valley house. I have lived in this house for 3 years, and am only leaving to move in with my boyfriend. The room is available August 15th, but the exact move-in date is negotiable. The sub-lease ends Jan 1st, but there will likely be the possibility of signing a new lease at that point.

The room available ($1088 before utilities) is huge and bright. The house is spacious, sunny, and beautiful with two kitchens, two living rooms, a dining room, and a large backyard. The house has two full bathrooms and an en suite bathroom. There is also ample storage. It is a 10 minute or less drive from Stanford and a 20 minute bike ride. The neighborhood itself is beautiful as well and close to trails for running and biking.

The girls living in the house are Stanford grad students, postdocs, and residents. They are all super friendly, active and hardworking people. We enjoy cooking and running together, sharing a bottle of wine, having occasional BBQs, and hanging out over a good movie. We like to keep the communal areas clean but also welcoming, so we are looking for someone that can be friendly, respectful and neat.
