I’m subletting a bedroom in my 2BR/1BA apartment in downtown Menlo Park. The rent is $1250/month, and the room will be available on September 1st.

Rent includes water and garbage, but internet and PG&E costs equal about $60/month. The building has a coin operated washer and dryer, and this room comes with an off-street garage spot adjacent to the apartment.

The room is unfurnished (about 120 sq. ft.) and has a big closet. Both the living room and kitchen are large and furnished. The living room and bedrooms have hardwood floors that were installed four years ago. The place is incredibly sunny, with windows on both the east and west sides.

The location is pretty ideal too. It takes 10-15 minutes to bike to Stanford and the same to walk to the Menlo Park Caltrain station. Peet's and Draeger's are within a 5 minute walk, and Trader Joe's is within 10 minutes on foot.

I work at Stanford and am a light user of the common space. Since I will be moving to SF at the end of the year, I’m looking for someone who can commit to staying for 4 months. In addition to the rent, I’ll need $1100 as a safety deposit.
