I’m postdoc at Stanford, and with my family, we are going back to Europe for one month this summer (from July 6th to August 6th). We would like to rent our house during this entire period.
We have a charming house in Gilbert Ave (Menlo Park) with a garden. The house is ideal e.g. for a family, since we ourselves live here with our 4 daughters. The first floor, that we would like to rent, includes 3 bedrooms, a living room and dining room, a kitchen, and a bathroom with restroom. All bedrooms are opening on the garden. We are sharing the house (kitchen, bathroom, garden) with two very nice and discreet persons living on the second floor, were two additional rooms are located. They will probably be there only part-time during the summer. The house is about 10-15 min away from Stanford University by bicycle, and 10 min by car.
The renting for one month is 4000 USD + 200 USD for the water/electricity/gas expenses, to pay one month in advance. And we will also ask for a 1/2 rent as safety deposit (2500 USD).
We would like to rent the house for the entire period only, and also the entire house (no renting of individual rooms).
