Dear all,
We are looking for an individual to sublet a large bedroom for the month of June in an apartment on McAllister Street one block from Alamo Square!
This place is pretty special. This Victorian apartment is massive (1700 square feet), filled with light, and beautifully maintained. Four bedrooms and two baths (one of which is split into half - so it's really one full bath + 2 half baths!). Washer and dryer are in-unit.

We're offering up the Second Bedroom (as seen on the website above) for $1800. You'd move in on June 1 and out on July 1.
The other bedrooms are occupied by various cool people:
M and J - 28/29 gay couple. J is a teacher in SFUSD, M is finishing up a Ph.D. at Stanford in materials science and engineering. We spent lots of time outdoors and doing various athletic things, playing music, and cooking unidentifiable stir-fried dishes. We both lived in different parts of Asia (Tibetan Plateau/Laos) doing different things (teaching/energy access) for awhile. J has an unhealthy obsession with public transit systems, and M has an unusually high capacity to ingest dairy.
B, 27, F, is originally from Philly and currently moving from Madison, Wisconsin to work at Google. When she was four, she wanted to grow up to be a fire truck.
P, 32, F, is Italian and just graduated from the Haas School of Business at Berkeley. She enjoys working out and recently ran Bay to Breakers. She says, "When I first moved here from Italy I used to microwave rice in a metal bowl because it made it crispier. Then they told me I could have blown up the house. I don't do that anymore so you are safe and sound living with me!"
K, F, just finished her Master's in education at Stanford and will begin teaching math at a charter school down the street from the house! Born in New York City, grew up in Connecticut, studied math at Princeton. Loves music, math and mountains. Plays jazz piano and trombone. You'll be subletting her room.
The room will be furnished with a bed, couch (!), and dresser.
Here's an independent assessment of the place from a private blog - really, it is this good:
