I'm a postdoc at Stanford, and I would like to sublet our house this summer. It is 10-15min bicycle from Stanford.
Charming house in Gilbert Ave (Menlo Park) with a garden, to sublet for one month this summer (from July 6th to August 6th 2016). The house is ideal e.g. for a family, since we ourselves live here with our 4 daughters. The first floor, that we would like to rent, includes 3 bedrooms, a living room and dining room, a kitchen, and a bathroom with restroom. All bedrooms are opening on the garden. We are sharing the house (kitchen, bathroom, garden) with two very nice and discreet persons living on the second floor, were two additional rooms are located. They will probably be there only part-time during the summer. The house is about 10-15 min away from Stanford University by bicycle, and 10 min by car, very close to Palo Alto.
The renting for one month is 3200 USD + 300 USD for the water/electricity/gas expenses, to pay one month in advance. And we will also ask for a 1/2 rent as safety deposit (1700 USD).
