Price: $1,415
Only incoming or current Stanford affiliates who can show proof of Stanford affiliation are eligible to apply. Minors, undergraduates, and those not in good standing with the University are not eligible to sublicense.
I am subletting my fully furnished Escondido Village studio apartment from June 7 to August 20 for $1415/month. The apartment has a spacious kitchen and refrigerator, as well as a private wheelchair-accessible bathroom. The room comes with a extra-long full size bed, sofa, and desk. For more details about the amenities included in the studios as well as some general photos, check out https://rde.stanford.edu/studenthousing/escondido-village-studios. In addition to the basic furnishings, the room has a microwave, toaster oven, and printer/scanner/copier that the renter is welcome to use.
The room is located in a quite, secure graduate student residential community. The California Avenue Caltrain is within walking distance, and Stanford's free Marguerite Shuttle provides regular service to the San Antonio Shopping Center in Mountain View, which has Safeway, Trader Joe's, Walmart, Target, Milk Pail Market, and other stores. Rent covers utilities and there is free laundry within the building.
I am looking for a renter (male or female, no preference) who is quiet, clean, and can leave the apartment (especially the kitchen and rest room) in the same condition he or she found it in. A limited set of pantry ingredients and dishes/utensils will be available for use. Smoking and pets are not allowed.
Rent will be prorated for the month of June, but full rent is expected for August. Shorter stays are okay, but I cannot offer the room earlier than June 7 or have the renter stay past August 20. I am asking for a $200 security deposit to ensure that the room is returned in decent condition. If you're a Stanford affiliate who is interested, please message me with some information about yourself and what you're looking for.
