Hello everyone,

Since I'll be away researching for the summer, I would like to sublet my apartment, which is located on the Stanford campus in graduate student housing in Escondido Village. The apartment will be available during the summer quarter only, from June 22 until September 1. The rent is $1044/month (the exact amount that I pay to the Stanford Housing Office), and I will prorate the rent depending on your move-in/move-out dates.

The apartment is one of the "junior studios with shared kitchen" in the very recently built Kennedy buildings. You would have a private bedroom/living area, a private bathroom, and a kitchen that you will share with one other person (a friendly female graduate student, who does not frequently use the kitchen and does not usually have much stuff in the fridge). Your unit will lock with a separate key; the only thing shared is the kitchen. The apartment is fully furnished, with cooking utensils, an extra-long full-sized bed, a desk, bookshelves, and a couch.

^^ In the pictures at the link above, you will see a desk and an armchair instead of a couch; I redecorated by buying my own couch and am storing the desk and armchair under the bed.

Because this sublicensing agreement needs to be regulated officially through the Stanford Housing Office, you must be able to show proof of a Stanford affiliation (grad student, visiting researcher, visiting professor, working in administration, etc.). Therefore, please only respond if you are Stanford-affiliated.
