We need a spreadsheet with 100 U.S. police departments and their contact information. They should be departments that would be interested in improving their relationship with the public, embracing new technologies, and/or using more data in their work. (For more context, our website is www.textmy90.com).
Methods of identifying their interest in community policing/technology/data:
Columns of the spreadsheet should include: Department Name; Department city/state; Chief of Police Name; Phone number for Chief's office; Email address for Chief's office; City Population; Reason for including this department (1-2 sentence on research notes. Eg, mention of "community policing" or "crime prevention" as a priority/department on the website, mention of buying recently new technology, link to a news article showing they care about police-community relations, etc.). We'll share what we currently have and and ask you to add new departments. All departments must be in the U.S.
*If contact info for the Chief's office is unavailable, you can include contact info for a Public Information Officer, Media Relations Personnel, or general contact info.
